WHAT THE HECK IS A SISARINA?

When Melanie Spring was naming the company, she asked her mom for some help. She wanted something completely unique that was also creative and fun.

Julie, her mom (read about her on the blog), said: What about Sisarina?

Melanie had no idea what she was saying.

Her mom said: “Melanie, she was your imaginary friend from age two to four. You had her from the time your sister was born until you went to kindergarten.”

Such a great name for a creative company inspired by a creative child. The origin of the word is believed to be a mashup of the words: Sister & Ballerina

With such a unique name, we get asked all the time for its meaning. Our clients laugh every time and think it's adorable when they find out. Being named for an imaginary friend of a very young imaginative version of our Principal, Sisarina inspires a happy sense of childhood in our clients. We like to think our excitement for working with them stems from the very essence of our name.
