A rainy tuesday night couldn't keep away the tweeters on September 20th, as the usual suspects and newbies alike turned out for #DCTweetup at Dino in Cleveland Park, Washington, DC.

The "secret" stairway in the cozy Dino dining room led attendees upstairs to the private bar where Tweetup Happy hour specials were served by attentive staff and drinks like the "Mrs Potato Head" were poured by co-host and bartender Andrew Shapiro. 

Dino is a rustic, Italian restaurant just across the street from the Cleveland Park metro stop. This intimate neighborhood gem opened in 2005 and prides itself on knowing where its food comes from and how its raised. Visit their website to see their suppliers. 

Conversation and drinks flowed between the newly-found Twitter friends as people put faces to handles, shared business strategies, networked for jobs, and laughed at eah other's stories.
