MELANIE SPRING, Principal & Project Director
Entrepreneur: Treating Obstacles as Daily Exercise
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, there was no way I could be anything but one. Although I'm a Project Director and have my hands in all aspects of each of our projects, being an entrepreneur has allowed me to learn how to be a leader. Setting up our office and our culture the way I have always dreamed, I've learned how to cultivate leaders within my staff.
When I started Sisarina in 2001, I never dreamed she would grow into what she has become. (read history) Now my dreams are bigger. A Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication, a web design start-up in college, numerous marketing & advertising sales jobs, even a high-level recruiting job... all of this has led me to realize how much I love working for myself. Working with a group of entrepreneurial-minded folks has been the best learning experience.
Although Sisarina is my full-time passion, joy and happiness, I find time to do other things I love. Barefoot running, sewing quilts and copious amounts of reading are what get me excited about life outside of work. My dogs are typically at the office with me all day (watch for flying bouncy balls) or hiking up a mountain. If I'm not finding a new trail, I'm typically planning a wine party.
