Heart 2 Heart Charity Happy Hour
On Thursday, March 3, 2011, A Diva State of Mind presents Heart 2 Heart: A charity happy hour
benefiting the American Heart Association Go Red For Women Campaign. Sponsored by Monarch
Magazine, MonaVIe, Instructions Apparel and DC Fit Week, guests will enjoy $5 drinks, $5 appetizers and
a specialty cocktail made specifically for the event. Donation boxes will also be available for all guests
to make contributions. Instructions Apparel will be in attendance selling their signature dress shirts and
ties.
Go Red For Women encourages awareness of the issue of women and heart disease, and also action to
save more lives. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power women have to band together
and collectively wipe out heart disease. It challenges them to know their risk for heart disease and take
action to reduce their personal risk. It also gives them the tools they need to lead a heart healthy life.
