Working long hours and knowing my dogs would never get the attention they needed, Sisarina became a dog-friendly office very quickly. Griffin, our Director of Cuteness, suffers from the cold when it gets chilly outside due to his thin hair. His brother, Bailey, our Director of Security, has tight curls and is warm all year round. Due to Griffin's chilliness, we've tried to find clothes for him but to no avail. Most are either too big or too small. He needed something that fit JUST right.
Target had 18mo boys tshirts on a rack for $8. Griffin likes to fly around the office so I thought a Superman shirt would be perfection. It even goes well with my Wonder Woman poster and shirts. It would help him fit right in AND stay warm.

As you know, Griffin is a boy and he needs a little room to... ahem... make a potty. The 18mo shirt was also too wide around his body so I decided to pull the belly (originally, it was the back) of the shirt together to fit him snugly while also cutting out a hole to keep his shirt from getting wet. Step 1: Put on dog & check size. Step 2: Pin it. Step 3: Cut hole to keep dry. Step 4: Sew hems & main area. Voila! Pulling the middle together allowed the sleeves to move down to their correct place.
Now, Griffin just hangs around Sisarina HQ proving that he's Superman. He'd LOVE to see your dogs in their homemade shirts. Send pics!
