SISARINA SPEAKS

One of my clients, Ellen Vlasak is a true survivor and female entrepreneur. Her and her husband just bought a Salon in Alexandria called Circe of Alexandria. I worked with them on the rebrand process right after they purchased it. Ellen is a breast cancer survivor and owns several businesses with her husband. She's graceful and caring, thoughtful and straightforward. She's overcome a lot in her life and still puts 110% into her work, her employees and especially her family and darling husband. Ellen is a true woman to celebrate!

I've been most inspired by my mom, Cindy. She has always volunteered and helped others, from feeding disadvantaged residents of her small town in Maine to running the Toys for Tots program and helping animals at local shelters. She goes out of her way to better the community and I would consider it a success if I turn out to be half as giving as she is!

My mom is my inspiration. She can do so many things and never let not having a college degree slow her down. My friend Melanie Spring (http://twitter.com/sisarina) taught me that I can do more than I think I'm able and can do it with a sense of humor. My biz partner taught me that people can have your back at all times with no ulterior motive.

My mom is my #1 inspiration. She showed me that I could do anything I put my mind to as an entrepreneur & has encouraged me to be a strong woman taking on the world. Talis Hollingsworth, my favorite boss, taught me how to be a boss & manage employees respectfully, with love and excitement. Diana Kurcfeld, http://twitter.com/ddkurcfeld, is my inspiration for how to rock the business world and network with style.

I'm inspired by a one Melanie Springs. I am constantly amazed by her perserverence through difficult times, her drive to make her business succeed, her bright smile and positive outlook that she refuses to abandon. I haven't known her as long as many and I doubt I know her as well as most, but if I had half of her drive to succeed, her commitment to her faith, her love for the life God has given her, her will to improve I would be an extremely fortunate man. Thank you Melanie for being such an amazing insiration day after day. :)

My late Aunt Jackie was, and continues to be, an inspiration for me. She modeled open-mindedness, respect & tolerance for all religions and cultures, and perhaps most importantly, allowed me the freedom to be myself. 17 years after her death, I still miss her, but it's a testament to her spirit that the lessons she taught me are still front and center in my mind, and guide me in my daily life.
