As business owners, we have to maximize our time, be efficient and find profit in the nooks and crannies. There are 24 hours in a day, 8 of which we 'should' be sleeping, 8-15 of which most of us are working... which leaves little time to relax, workout, spend time with friends/family or eat.
Since we are in the digital age, some thoughtful people have given us resources to help us be more efficient. They also thought about cost when doing these (all of which are FREE!) so we could spend money on things like rent, utilities, computers, and lunch.
Make it your goal to be as efficient as possible. Give these tools a try and find a few extra minutes to relax.
Google Apps – email through your domain, calendars, documents, filesharing, surveys
Google Voice – can forward to multiple phones & text/email you the written message
Mint.com – keep track of all your finances in once place
QuickBooks Online – allow accounting access from anywhere to anyone in your company
TeamViewer.com – free screen-sharing software (downloadable or thru browser)
Aviary.com – stripped-down design programs with ability to access from multiple locations
DropBox.com – online file storage syncs with multiple computers
